  1. 1) Yes, please do Classic Who/RTD. You guys make the wait for NuWho a lot easier.
    2) I agree with Scott on this one. I loved this episode. Even though the surprise of Skaro was ruined by the trailers, the characters’ reactions made it terrifying

  2. I thought it was a great episode. I actually couldn’t believe what I was seeing because it also felt to me more like a finale rather than the low key opener I was expecting a la ‘Deep Breath’.
I think next week the Doctor will stop Davros creating the Daleks. I’m not sure how. Probably less killing him more saving his life in a sort of Kazran Sardick rehash type thing. But the Daleks will exist anyway in the same way World War 2 would still almost definitely have happened had Hitler not existed.

As to the podcast doing Classic/RTD Who I think you should carry on as you are with Nick and Cassandra, though the occasional guest host would not go amiss.

  3. It would be great if you all could continue doing Classic Who episodes during the haitus – whether the bi-weekly or episode by episode. I love watching Classic Who episodes and then going back and finding if you guys had done a podcast on said episodes. =) (I’m not exaggerating when I say that TDC is one of my favorite podcasts and I miss it when there are no new eps.)

As for The Magician’s Apprentice – I agree with Scott. I loved it and it was just so much fun and it makes me excited for the season. And it was so true about Capaldi finally feeling like the Doctor.

  4. Count me in with Scott as well. I couldn’t wipe the gigantic grin off my face while watching this episode. I thought it was an absolute blast. Can’t wait to see how things shake out in the second part.
