  1. In defense of Mickey Smith… He is awful at first! But by the end of season 4 he’s become a force in his own right (and also he and Martha and Jack all leave together at the end btw so it’s not such a stretch that he and Martha ended up hanging out together).

    Also I like him and Martha together because they more than any of the others know how shitty the Doctor can be, they had to do serious personal growth because of him, and also, yes both Black (and I do think the Doctor is a little bit racist, he has had awkward interactions with like every single Black character I’ve seen him with).

    So yeah, I don’t hate any of that bit as much as you guys. But yes he is awful most of the time especially in season one.

    Also, I forget now if you touched on this but I’ve always had my own headcannon about Jack/Rose/Doctor polyamory going on during the time. It just makes sense. 🙂
