    • That’s my bad. I just blanket assume that people turn off the episode after we’ve finished discussing and when we’re doing our wrapup bit.

JUST KNOW YOU WERE NOT NEGLECTED.

  1. I hope they take Matt’s suggestion and name the Moff era the “train of disappointment”

  2. Thanks for the shout out guys. This is Kargrym, I know it’s not easy to pronounce. Car-Grim. Been listening since you started but never commented. I’ll be more interactive from now on.

I think rings was middling.great set design, poor execution by the director. This has black spot problems. Plot holes that I think occurred in editing the final cut of the show. Girl with purple glowy mind powers? Alarm clock of pointlessness. Space scooter? Memory draining that does not drain memories? All useless and meaningless. Needs a rewrite. That’s Moffs failings to control his writing staff. And none of that requires a page 1 rewrite.
Matt’s speech was great though, watching in high def and seeing the tear down his cheek was a great moment. That’s the moment I keep going back to.

    • Good to have you around, sir.

I noticed all the plot problems you mentioned, but I didn’t want to drag the episode into nitpick territory as I felt it hardly deserved it. But yes. There were definite writing failings where it just felt… sloppy. Things went awkward in the way first draft scripts feel awkward. Major bummer.

  3. I liked this episode. For the first time all season, I wanted to watch the episode more than once. Many good moments.

  4. I really thought after last week you two were going hate this episode. And seeing the intro of this episode were the doctor was stalking claira’s parents i thought you were going to rip this episode a new one. Color me shocked.

    • Sorry to disappoint! (Especially on my end…)

We’re being honest when we say that we go into every episode wanting more than anything to love it. And I just really liked this one. *shrugface*
