  1. I realize you guys are going to be making episodes of the Doctor’s Companion dealing with season 7 now that it’s about to start, but maybe you could do an episode of the 4-part John Pertwee serial Spearhead from Space? I mean whenever you have time. It’s the first classic Who episode I’ve ever seen and it introduces the Autons, The Third Doctor, and Doctor Who being filmed in color. It’s up to you of course, but it would be cool if you got around to it eventually. Also, it’s on netflix, so fairly easy to find if you have it.

    • Yes we are planning to do Spearhead from Space. It’s on our schedule, but not for quite some time (it’ll be at least two years). It’s unfortunate because I know it’s one our favorites, but there it is.

We would do it sooner, but everything is planned pretty meticulously so we get a healthy balance of Doctors, monsters, good stories, and bad ones. This way we don’t burn through all the good ones or the iconic ones, nor do we have to languish in mediocrity for the rest of the run.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but I am delighted that you tried it and that you enjoyed it. In the meanwhiles I hope the stories we cover in the off-season between new episodes will satiate your appetite until we do get there.
